Supercontinuum generation is the formation of a broad spectrum through pumping by high peak energy pulses through nonlinear media. We use the photonic crystal fiber to build a supercontinuum laser source with short pulse width and sub-megawatt peak power pumping by the 1070nm yb-fiber laser through self-phase modulation in a PCF in the weak negative dispersion region for the THG imaging.
